PageKiwi checking itself
Our own accessibility report
Every week we scan every page of pagekiwi.com for accessibility problems and publish the result, good or bad.
No problems found in the last scan, Oct 7, 2026: 55 pages, each on a desktop in light and dark mode and on a phone.
Check the official rules. Rules and dates change, so check them with the official sources before you rely on them: ADA.gov (the US Department of Justice), the W3C's WCAG pages and Section508.gov. PageKiwi helps you find problems and get closer to meeting the rules. It can't promise a website meets them, it isn't legal advice, and we can't take responsibility for decisions made from it.
What the scan found: nothing
The scan passed 7,278 checks across 165 page views with no problems. That's not a promise every page works for everyone: see what it can't tell, below.
How we check
- Engine
- axe-core 4.13.0, an open-source accessibility engine.
- Standard
- WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA, plus best practice.
- Pages
- Every page in our sitemap, read fresh each week, so new pages are included.
- Views
- Desktop, light; Desktop, dark; Phone, light. On the phone view we also check nothing scrolls sideways.
- Also
- When we change the site, our tests run the same engine on its main pages.
What it can't tell
Automated scans find many common problems, not all. They can't judge whether a description makes sense or whether something is easy to understand: that takes trying pages by hand, with only a keyboard and with a screen reader. Our aim is WCAG 2.2 AA; see Website accessibility for ours and yours.
