Turn on cookies

Most sites need cookies to log you in or keep your shopping cart. If you can't sign in, or your cart keeps emptying, check they're on.

Not sure which browser you have, or whether cookies are on? My setup tells you both.

A cookie is a small note a website leaves in your browser, like "this person is signed in". Turning them off stops sites remembering you between pages.
